Our New Beginning
Beginning at the age of 8, our daughter discovered the powerful impact of the horse. Because of the ways God used this sacred relationship, she surmounted many difficult physical and emotional trials, and has learned to "run her race" with the heart of a champion.
Today's youth face a myriad of hardships, injustices, and deep wounds. Through a generational effort, our family remains deeply burdened to reach hurting youth and their families, offering them hope and healing through a redemptive experience in a ranch setting.
After several years of carrying this dream to own and share a ranch, we stepped out in faith to birth 8th Mountain Ranch in January of 2015. We began building the program on a property in Castle Rock, Colorado. In 2021, we settled into a new space for our session program in Woodland Park, Colorado.
We believe that caring for a wounded, rescued horse simultaneously provides a healing experience in the broken-hearted which then releases them into their unique God-given design and purpose.
Our ultimate vision is for anyone who walks onto the ranch to encounter the extraordinary touch of God's unconditional love. This is what we call releasing the Kingdom of Heaven.
We passionately desire to serve our community and empower a generation with the hope and love of Jesus Christ!
Thanks for taking the time to know us!
