Meet Our New Directors
“Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us…” — Ephesians 3:20
In this season of change and new beginnings, we are witnessing firsthand the truth of Ephesians 3:20—God doing far more than we ever could have asked or imagined. While we celebrate Rachael stepping into a new season, we are equally confident that God’s work at 8th Mountain Ranch is far from finished. In fact, we’re excited to share the beginning of a brand-new chapter.
With great joy, the board is pleased to introduce our new Program Directors, Tasha and Robert DeVore.

Through a remarkable series of God-led connections and confirmations, perfectly timed and unmistakably orchestrated, we were introduced to this incredibly dynamic couple. After much prayer and discernment, we warmly welcome them into the heart of the ranch.
Though the process of bringing Tasha and Rob onto the 8th Mountain Ranch team moved quickly, it was undoubtably led by the Lord. It has felt like divine acceleration—every conversation, confirmation, and next step unfolding with clarity and unity. Their years of faithful preparation and spiritual maturity allowed them to step in seamlessly, fully equipped for what this role requires. What might take months or even years in a typical transition came together in a matter of weeks, yet with such peace and alignment, it was clear: God was moving, and this was His timing. From our very first conversation, it was evident our hearts were aligned—with a shared passion to bring hope and healing to the hurting through the powerful bond between people and horses.
Robert followed his passion years ago and discovered a deep, God-given gift. He pursued natural horsemanship training and became known for transforming even the most challenging horse-human relationships through clinics and personalized instruction. His love for horses led him to found a horse rescue organization that served his local community with compassion and skill.
Tasha’s path beautifully mirrors the heart of our ministry. Her love for horses and calling as a life coach seamlessly came together through the Equestrian Assisted Learning (EAL) model. With grace and empathy, she has walked alongside many who were on the edge of despair, helping them find solid ground through intentional, Spirit-led equine sessions.
Boldly they stepped out in faith and relocated internationally from Canada to Colorado to complete a robust discipleship program at Bible school. With great expectation, they were prayerfully waiting for God’s next assignment, and we believe 8th Mountain Ranch is the place where their two lifelong passions—ministry and horses—will find powerful expression.
We are humbled and thrilled to welcome Tasha and Rob into this next season of leadership at the ranch. As you can clearly see, decades of walking in obedience to the Lord—thousands of small, faithful “yeses”—have prepared them for such a time as this. We can’t wait to see how God will continue to move through their obedience and gifting.

As we look ahead, we’ll be sharing more about what’s unfolding behind the scenes as we prepare for next summer’s session season. God continues to surprise us with timely provision and creative solutions. Thank you for walking forward with us as we labor in the field of Woodland Park, which is white with harvest. Together we will be found faithful in reaching the lost, hurting, and hopeless ones with the love of Jesus. It’s another new beginning full of confident expectation in God’s goodness and grace!
With anticipation and gratitude,
The 8th Mountain Ranch Team
