Dearest friends,

As I reflect on this past summer, I’m filled with gratitude for the experiences and lessons that each day brought. Working with the kids at the ranch was a gift from the Lord that stretched me, teaching me so much about what it means to truly lead and connect with others with excellence.

One of the first things I realized is how essential it is to be fully present. As I worked alongside each child, I learned that leadership starts with listening. Whether it was the way they shared their thoughts, expressed their excitement, or voiced their worries, every conversation reminded me of the importance of creating a safe space for others to feel heard and valued. It taught me that good communication begins with understanding, and that sometimes, the quiet moments carry the most meaning.

There were also many moments where quick or unexpected decisions needed to be made with nothing but the urgent prompting of Jesus! This repeatedly reminded me leadership often means trusting that the Lord has called and has fully equipped me to walk in this role and to embrace the responsibility to guide others, even when you don’t have all the answers.

Watching the kids respond and adapt to new challenges gave me confidence to lead with both clarity and empathy and knowing Jesus fills in the rest. Every single time! Another lesson that came up time and again was the balance between patience and encouragement. Some kids needed a gentle nudge, while others thrived with a bit of structure and direction. Finding that balance wasn’t always easy, but each child’s journey showed me that the best leaders adapt, shifting their approach to meet others where they are.

As we approach the holiday season, I’m excited to share that we have some wonderful things in store. We’ll be rolling out opportunities for everyone to get involved, and we look forward to celebrating the many blessings that this year has brought.

It’s a season for giving thanks, and we can’t wait to welcome you into what’s next. Stay tuned for ways you can join us in making this a holiday season to remember!

Please keep sharing and stay tuned for more updates!

 With heartfelt thanks,
